IMG_3288GLYS are a regular feature at Vox Harmony’s Musical Moments fundraising concert and entertained the audience with two diverse sets of songs on Sunday 29th November.
A choreographed medley of music from around the world -‘Ipharadisi’ (African), ‘Seseree’ (Torres Strait Islander) and ‘Round the Dreydl Spins’ (Hebrew) kicked off GLYS’ performance. This was follwed by ‘A Mozart Canon’, Elton John’s ‘Electricity’ from the musical Billy Elliot, the Celtic blessing ‘May The Road Rise Up’, James Bay’s ‘Hold Back the River’ and the Michael Buble Version of ‘Jingle Bells’. GLYS then joined Vox Harmony and Devonport’s Right on Cue in a massed choir performance of ‘Baba Yetu’ and ‘Polly Wolly Doodle’.
GLYS continue to impress audiences with their beautiful tone, versatility and obvious love of singing.
